As Partner & COO at ScaleX Tax, she oversees business operations, strategic growth, talent strategy, and client experience, ensuring operational excellence and sustainable growth.

Prior to joining ScaleX Tax, Palak worked with leading multinational organisations and Big 4 firms, delivering HR transformation initiatives, executive recruitment, organisational development, and talent management across the consulting, oil & gas, real estate, retail, and professional services sectors. Her expertise includes talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, HR policy implementation, and UAE labour law compliance.

She is proficient in leading HR technologies, including SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Avature, and Yomly, enabling organisations to optimise HR operations and enhance workforce performance. Passionate about building high-performing teams and people-first cultures, Palak combines strategic HR expertise with operational leadership to help businesses achieve long-term success.

Keshav Maheshwari brings over two decades of experience in the consultancy industry to his role as Partner – Tax Services at ScaleX Tax. With a strong background in strategic planning, business development, and financial management, he has consistently helped businesses strengthen their operational and regulatory frameworks.

Keshav’s deep understanding of the UAE market and its evolving tax landscape enables him to guide clients through complex tax requirements with clarity and confidence. His leadership is rooted in delivering practical, client focused solutions that address real business challenges while supporting long term growth.

Jayan Balakrishnan is a seasoned finance and technology leader with extensive experience across the construction, manufacturing, trading, FMCG, and services sectors in India and the Middle East. He has held senior leadership roles with renowned organisations, including the TATA Group, Al Jaber Group, and ALEC.

He specialises in finance transformation, ERP implementation, VAT and Corporate Tax, business planning, and digital transformation. Jayan has successfully led the implementation of leading ERP platforms, including Oracle Fusion Cloud, Oracle NetSuite, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, and Great Plains.

A recognised industry expert, Jayan is a regular speaker at the Big 5 Construction Conference and an active contributor to business and technology forums. He has also served as Honorary Auditor for leading community organisations in Abu Dhabi, reflecting his commitment to professional excellence and community service.

Nupur Agrawala is a seasoned tax professional with international experience across corporate tax compliance, advisory, M&A tax, and indirect taxation. She has worked with KPMG (Kuwait) and EY (India and New Zealand), advising multinational clients on tax-efficient structures, regulatory compliance, and cross-border transactions.

She has a strong track record in managing corporate tax filings, supporting tax audits, and delivering FDI advisory, along with leading buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence and corporate restructuring. Her expertise also includes indirect tax, customs, and trade regulations.

CA Chitwan Agrawal is a Chartered Accountant with over six years of experience in international taxation, transfer pricing, and global regulatory compliance. As Manager – Tax & Technology at ScaleX Tax, he specialises in delivering technology-enabled tax solutions that help businesses manage complex cross-border tax requirements efficiently.

He has worked with multinational and Fortune 500 companies across the US, Europe, and APAC, with expertise in BEPS, transfer pricing, FATCA, CRS, CbCR, OECD reporting, tax audits, and corporate tax compliance. Chitwan is also a regular trainer on international tax developments and is recognised for his analytical approach, technical expertise, and commitment to delivering practical, client-focused solutions.

Neha Jayaprakash is an Assistant Manager of Indirect Tax and Tax Technology at ScaleX Tax. She is an ACCA Member and tax professional with experience in UAE indirect taxation, compliance, and financial reporting. She has worked with firms including Moore and MHA, advising clients across various industries in the UAE and beyond.

Her experience includes managing VAT and Excise Tax compliance, conducting tax health checks and reviews, supporting FTA audits and assessments, and providing practical, business-focused tax solutions. She also has a strong accounting background covering financial reporting, reconciliations, and process improvements.

Her core expertise lies in UAE indirect tax, with a focus on VAT and Excise Tax compliance, advisory, risk assessments, transaction reviews, and tax governance. She works closely with finance teams and stakeholders to strengthen control frameworks and improve compliance efficiency.

Avinash Poojari is an Assistant Manager in Advisory Services at ScaleX Tax in Dubai. He is a highly accomplished, results-oriented Chartered Accountant with 3 years of deep-rooted experience specializing in Audit and Risk Advisory services.

Throughout his career, Avinash has built a strong reputation across the BFSI, Real Estate, Healthcare, and Hospitality sectors by blending rigorous technical compliance with forward-thinking financial innovation.

Anushka Dahkan is a Tax Consultant at ScaleX Tax. Widely recognized for her sharp blend of assurance and advisory expertise, Anushka has built a reputation as a technically grounded tax consultant with a strong foundation in financial reporting and compliance.

She brings hands-on experience across audit and tax, having honed her assurance skills at Grant Thornton UAE where she worked across diverse client portfolios spanning multiple industries.

Currently advancing her credentials as a CPA candidate with three of four papers successfully cleared, Anushka combines academic rigor with practical insight to advise businesses on tax compliance, financial reporting, and regulatory matters.

Arnav Puri is a Tax Consultant at ScaleX Tax, Dubai, with a strong foundation in taxation, accounting, audit, financial reporting, and business advisory. Alongside his professional role, he is partly qualified ACCA and holds a B.com in Accountancy and Finance from Heriot-Watt University Dubai.
